The rough idea is that in 2011 I do a little bit of both,” Armstrong told VeloNews late last year. “No triathlons in 2010. We’re going to try to win the Tour. To do that, you have to be totally focused on that. In 2011, you could still do Tour Down Under, California. I wouldn’t want to go back and do the classics or Paris-Nice. We could go do Cape Epic in South Africa.

EDIT: He's aged

Iker_Baqueiro said:Forget about the pictures. He'll look really old if he doesn't make it inside the top 10 in tomorrow's prologue.

Beech Mtn said:From that article, it sounds like he may do some selected bike races:
Races that pay an appearance fee, perhaps? Anyway, ACF can still go see him in TDU next year.![]()

Never fear! Like Lance, Australia still hates cancer and sees the truth!

If you're wrong - and you very well might be - will you say anything at all? Change the subject back to grey hair and crows feet around the eyes perhaps?
thoughtforfood said:dude, i know he is a doping fraud and have since the day he chased down simeoni. Tomorrow changes nothing for me. I already believe that anyone who buys his lies is a blind moron. I actually couldn't think any less of them, so tomorrow will be their day to deal with whatever happens.
I post here year round, unlike people like you. I will come back around regardless. If i am wrong, i admit it. I don't have a problem saying the words "i was wrong."
what are you going to do?

The personalities are secondary. LA may or may not be a doping fraud like just about everybody in the race may or may not be a doping fraud.
How I enjoy the sport doesn't revolve around how much I hate or fawn over Lance Armstrong because I do neither of those things. I feel pretty much the same about every other rider. They all have admirable and less than admirable traits, just like you and I and everyone else. I'm not a judge, I simply enjoy a good show and appreciate what it takes to compete at the level that pro riders, both on and off road. I have no illusion of how "clean" the show is or ever was.
If I want to engage in a pure and uncompromised competition, I'll have to have it with myself because I am the only person I control. I'm not going to get too worked up about what anyone else is doing. Either I accept that and watch and enjoy, or I don't an focus my attention elsewhere. I will not allow bitterness, hatred and anger to rule me.
