Wish he woulda gone with Majka initially today. The two of them plus Aru would have been a real chase group, if nothing else pushing Evans (and maybe Uran) out of contention. Instead, they just frittered away their energy playing rubber band GC autobus.

Glad Kelderman finally went in the end.

Damn this forum got confusing with everone suddenly having an Aruvatar:D

I was just thinking that same things. :D We either need more variation in Avatars we choose or Aru needs to go win a couple more stages and use different victory celebrations in each.

We don't even organize in the Aru thread after all, let's keep the deception going.

D_T is allowing us to hide in the Kelderman thread while we plan our attack. Who will think about looking for us here ;)

Anyways, well done Kelderman. You rode pretty well today. :)

Soon our army will be big enough to take on the Contador fanclub, but don't tell anyone, it will be a suprise attack.
Yes, you all are really so subtle about it. :)

Kelderman said about yesterday that he hoped the others would keep watching eachother and that's why he attacked.
Unfortuantely Poels started pulling and in the last 1200m he blew himself up a little. But he said "if it works you gain 30 seconds that way again." He says podium is not possible, he says "most of the guys in front of me are stronger anyway". But he still hopes to gain 1 or 2 places.

should be able to climb past Hesjedal atleast :). Perhaps Pozzo or Majka will crack big time up Zoncolan :p

not so negative, he still did better than kiserlovski and hesjedal in the top 10. And he actually lost most of his time (all of his time) to Evans on the flat part. He did the climb 15 seconds faster than Evans.

Ok, I am a little disappointed. I was hoping for less loss compared to the fastest. But, we have time. Our day will come!

In a couple of years Kelderman will take the tour. Aru will do the giro/Vuelta double and Quintana will ride for 2nd places, just give it some more time

To bad about the dissapointing mtt though :(

Giro mountains just too steep and long for him I think. More of a tour rider clearly

I was surprised with his agressive riding. I think it's good way to get better, to push yourself and not to ride too tactically.

But I think he did really good considering his size and age. Very few riders can stay competitive for three weeks at such a young age and although he faded a bit in the end, I'm satisfied with his performance overall.

Probably more of Tour rider, but he doesn't focus on the Tour only in years to come.
