Lipowitz is for sure the best GT rider on the team now. Then Roglic, Remco and Pellizzari on roughly the same level. Hindley seems way off these days.

But either way I see a team that will never work in practice. Too many egos and riders that won't do proper dom work for the best rider (Lipo).

If I am Lipowitz I start to look for a new team. Pellizzari should consider it too.
Thank you for this. Needed the laugh.

All in all and if all stay and perform good this should now be a well rounded team. Maybe somebody for races like winning PR is still missing or one of them will need to step up, the rest of the calendar is now winnable. Even tackling Pogi and Jonas is something that now sounds plausible.

Callum Thornley is going to ride for the main team next year. And maybe they wait to see how Lorenzo Finn does in L'avenir?
I'd say that unless Lorenzo Finn wins the Avenir, he could be kept in the rookie team for another year without any problem. I'm more intrigued by what they're going to do with Donati, Tuckwell, and Boichis. Due to their age, they could move up already, and they will for sure receive offers from other teams. The Italian could be a cheap option for the sprints; Tuckwell is very good, but I don't consider him a phenomenon, even so, they don't have an excess of climbers, judging by this year's performance. And Boichis may not seem all that great, but he's a guy with a tremendous track record in XCO and even this year he's still not focused on the road. I think he could end up being much better than he seems now.

According to this article Dempster would get the team sport management role and Vanthourenhout will focus on Evenepoel. What it doesn't explain is why Vanthourenhout current focus is on the development team first and why Lodewyck (Evenepoel’s current DS) apparently will join the team as well?

Ok, so:

Dempster for Aldag
Vanthourenhout for Haussler
Lodewyck for Gasparotto

--> are those really upgrades? Really hard for me to grade.

Aldag obviously has way more experience then Dempster (Not saying that I liked everything Aldag did).
In general I think Ineos mostly races very solid and their tactical mistakes are rather seldom.

Haussler was more or less responsible for the classics this spring. Well...the performance was horrible so maybe they needed someone to blame.

Gasparotto was in the car when they won the Giro and when they became 3rd at the TdF. Was he perfect? No. But is Lodewyck an upgrade?

If the content of the report were correct, then in my opinion it would make no sense at all to hire Lodewyck. If Vanthourenhout is supposed to focus specifically on the races where Remco is expected to compete for victories, then I can't put another sports director in the car who has a close relationship with this rider. RBH is not Remco's team; there are many other riders with ambitions. It would be disastrous to give any more signs that it's all about Remco. And there's already a strong focus on him anyway.
If Dempster becomes the new Aldag (if the role is even assigned 1-to-1), then he probably wouldn't be in the car that often. At least recently, it was rarely Aldag who gave the orders in the car. Gasparotto was clearly the number one DS, which is why Denk said it was like in football: when the coach leaves, the assistant coach leaves too.
I can't judge Lodewyck. But here in the forum, he's not well regarded. I wouldn't make a DS like that number 1. And if Vanthourenhout does go to Remco, then in my opinion there's no place for him in the team. Or is he super good in classics and supposed to replace Haussler there?

But: Vanthourenhout had apparently been committed for a long time. Long before Remco was confirmed. So his role must have been different originally. Perhaps he is supposed to focus particularly on the development of the team. Just like a national coach does. Being on the road with everyone, hence his involvement with the rookie team.
