Sure thing.
You don’t think two riders who would be chasing 2.5 minutes (providing its flat TT) who in the past Tour De France races attacked anywhere from 10km to 60km out over the three weeks could not take 15 minutes on an unproven elite grand tour rider? Jonas the same rider took almost ten minutes on Pogacar but they couldn’t take 15 minutes on Remco who has zero pedigree ! Delusion is your friend

Oh, you mean if they were in the best shape of their lives and Evenepoel far from it. Then sure. Otherwise

Yea Pog not on the double and Jonas not almost dying .
If they were behind 3 minutes on Remco with 120km TT. That would be the greatest cycling race ever. Especially if Remco obviously improves as a climber next two years. We would be blessed to see it

The problem with the 120km TT today is that it’s not Indurain vs Pantani. Remco is unlucky to be in the same era that the other GC players are crazy strong. If peak Pog and Jonas went ballistic chasing a 120km TT route Remco would lose 15 minutes
When my englosh I dont knoe if I understand what you mean, but with the routes of Indurain. Remco would be the favourite with a decent team for the mountains.

He is very good at the flat, he has endurance, he has won Lieje with a super attack for far.

So in 2022 they were what? Riding on steel bikes?

A lot happened since you were banned. Suddenly Vingegaard can win stages of 200 km! I hope you will be banned on sunday again!

P.s-( I think the stage of plateau de beille is 197 and not 200 km, but whatever).
I noticed. His first 200km+ win.

You think 2022-3 pog and Jonas wouldn’t drop Remco by 2-3 minutes each hard stage . Please

I haven't really been blown away by the level of Roglic, Hindley, Vlasov, or the rest of Bora so far this year. Doesn't seem to me like they are anywere close to UAE or even Visma (who until this week didn't look too hot either).

do we really want Remco being managed by someone like Dr. Gianetti and UAE?

I will take Bora. And Specialized.

I was only gone for 3 days.
Really, the people that were really punished were you guys, who had to live without my lame jokes for 3 days.
I don't understand. I've been following the forum regularly these last days and seen many posts from you and now I learn you were banned? 🤔 Was I living in a parallel universe?

His cold sore shows his immune system is challenged. It could be due to the combination of fatigue and a minor infection such as a cold. It will have minor impact but probably enough to miss a few watts in a hard stage like yesterday. Lets hope it's not worse. QS has a stringent policy regarding covid. He will have to abandon the race if he has covid with symptoms.
It's almost impossible to find pictures of Justine Henin without cold sore and she still won a bunch of Grand Slams. Could be a good sign for Remco.

Remco to Red Bull?
Wow! Crazy. Really interesting.

They definitely have a bunch of individuals who should add up to a great team. Is that organization better for developing a young rider? Certainly have had my issues with Soudal in that respect. No idea, curious what those in the know think.

Hard to imagine Rogla being too stoked about it. Certainly there are enough races over the year to split between them, but there's only one Tour. Who leads?

Indeed. She had it basically all the time. She won 7 GS titles.
But she would have won 20 without sores!

You were probably imagining every logical and funny post to be posted by me. It's called conditioning.

Said the same thing. Pithie, Lazkano. Pair that with Sobrero, and Jungels which is also decent. Haller is a good horse. Vlasov was a beast in the dauphine and a good mountain helper.

For me the second best team next year behind UAE. Jumbo is top heavy with alot of ageing on their top riders which doesnt help.
Also add redbull have deep pockets and Ive forgot who besides Pithie and lazkano of toper A riders who signed but was another one and expect more.
Ya really good point about Red Bull. That bring possibilities for sure.

Remco to Red Bull?
According to this report, Ineos (obviously) but also UAE and Israel want to sign him? So that he could become a domestique to Froome or Soler? Seriously, why would UAE even bother, are they about to fire Pogacar?

Matxin must have the wet dream of going to the Tour de France with a squad made up of Pogi, Remco, Vingegaard, Ayuso, Almeida, Yates, Del Toro and Jay Vine

Almost one minute to Roglic in 30 Km.

Roglic is similar to Pogacar en Vinbgegaard in an ITT, except if we talk after several mountain stages...Maybe is today a little bit worse, but not too much.

In normal conditions Vingegaard a little bit better than roglic.

This ITT was after some mountain stages. Remco is not going to put lot of time to then with 100 km of more or less flat ITT, but matbe enough to manege in the mountains and hace some options.

They are in another league, but I dont consider Pogacar a pure climber, Vingegaard can put more time to Remco, Pogacar no so much. It depends the kind of mountains, for Remco high gradientes are a limitant factor, but with less gradient he is really good, and if there is a false flat btween climbs he can recover time. The only problem is his skills descending...Vingagard and Poggi and half the peloton are in another league. It is normal if you came from Football and has a serious crash as he had at Lombardie.
Vingegaard had margin to improve when he apears 3 years ago, and Remco has that margin as he started late cycling. Poggi is not the best of the worl, but he cant improve more.
