I might be wrong but I think this win makes Remco the first rider to win all of the following:
-WCTT
-Olympic TT
-Continental TT championship
-a Giro TT
-a Tour TT
-a Vuelta TT
Impressively this is still true even if we exclude the european championship which is a relatively new race of questionable importance. And all that at just 24 years of age. He really looks like the definitive TT rider of his generation.

Edit: dammit I was beaten

Didn't think he could do it as I thought he was running on fumes at the end of the tour, that's what being 24 is about I guess.

Only Hour record is missing.

I remember getting flamed by the forum, for stating that Ganna was lucky in 2020 and 2021 that Evenepoel crashed in 2020, because that -unlike popular opinion at the time- Ganna was not a better TT'er. Almost as hilarious as me getting flamed for stating in 2022 that Evenepoel was a more talented TT'er than Küng by a great margin, and that him beating Küng by a few seconds meant it was actually a bad TT for Evenepoel. Good times.

I know the Olympic TT doesn’t rate quite as high as the Olympic RR. Regardless Remco’s collection of titles is impressive and rare:
Gold + GT win + WC + monument.

It’s not about cornering at very low speed in the rain. About cornering at high speed in downhills. Totally different.
