If He is serious about GTs He has to leave Lefevere. Lefevere has No clue about GC riding, never has, never will.
How did I get quoted with what 18 Valve said.![]()
I had to make sure I didn’t say anything in my sleep since that post was way too knowledgeable and detailed for one of my posts.Strange. No clue. I might have edited around something, but I don't think so.
I have some inside info actually, so let me remind my earlier post from the stage thread:Any comments from the team on the weird ride on the Passo San Valentino?
Unfortunately one of his efforts came up on that descent and we all know how that ended up..As we know he's now here just for training purposes. Today he's got 4x10 mins repetitions at 400W (with 10mins recovery between). So expect him drop and undrop repetitively for the rest of the day.
No the problem is that the descent is for recovery but Remcovery happens at 600WI have some inside info actually, so let me remind my earlier post from the stage thread:

Poor guy anyway. I've been saying this for a long time that Giro is not the best place as a training camp for him. A smart man learns from his mistakes, I hope.No the problem is that the descent is for recovery but Remcovery happens at 600W
He wasn'tUnfortunate. Does anyone know if he was planning to race anything between now and the Olympics?
Yep, that old fool Lefevere, who doesn't know *** about GT racing, misguided this young kid to ride the Giro, the most beautiful, but also the hardest race there is. And not only to ride, but to ride to win it!Poor guy anyway. I've been saying this for a long time that Giro is not the best place as a training camp for him. A smart man learns from his mistakes, I hope.
Unfortunately not many good races to ride between now and then either. Wonder if they'll end up having him ride the Belgium Tour again. It would be good to let him race something he can do well in as a confidence boost imo.He wasn't
We don't know. his current descending is severely impacted by his crash from which he hasn't recovered yet. If he doesn't recover mentally he will be a lot worse than Shleck thoughIs he a better descender than Frank Schleck on a wet descent? If yes, he still has a chance of winning a grand tour.
Unfortunate. Does anyone know if he was planning to race anything between now and the Olympics?
