You're right but it's still impressive.Imagine if the Contador thread was started in 2004 instead of 2012.
Imagine how many posts Lance would have

Saying some crap like that(yeah, you say a lot of crap in this forum) doesn't make you better than jihad tuga. You are just like them.João Almeida wants to go to Giro in 2023. Remco is going to eat him up.
Imagine if the Contador thread was started in 2004 instead of 2012.
12,600 come from the same 20 Belgians, though. I think I may be a rare American fan-light. I don't consider myself a totally dedicated fan to any rider until they're retired and everyone acknowledges they raced clean. When I see this thread, I have the feeling that he is more popular than Contador. This is crazy. Almost 13000 posts with only 22 years old.
Half the posts are by haters who say he's overrated and complain that his thread has too many posts.12,600 come from the same 20 Belgians, though. I think I may be a rare American fan-light. Same with the Contador thread.Half the posts are by haters who say he's overrated and complain that his thread has too many posts.
I’m sure he would have 5-10 before 2007 because of the hype and medical concerns. After 2007, it’d just keep growing and growing.Don't think a Contador would have taken off until at least 2007 and probably 2009 Tour
He’d need the coverage of today as well. Though he and Lance are the only ones that I think could hit ten thousand pages or more from start of their career to present. Maybe Coppi and Bartali combined could teach that with the rivalry....imagine how many pages the real Eddy Merckx would have, had social media been around in those days.
I had the same reaction when I read Almeida was going to the Giro. Normal font size seems enough. But yeah, he’s not going to be much of a factor assuming everyone’s healthy and fit.Saying some crap like that(yeah, you say a lot of crap in this forum) doesn't make you better than jihad tuga. If he's in decent shape I would expect he finished top 5. Sure he won't be able to match the performance of Evenepoel and Vingegaard, but I wouldn't say that top 5 isn't being much of a factor.I had the same reaction when I read Almeida was going to the Giro. Yes, I think 5th is about where I’d put him. Not a factor for the win might be a better way of putting it.If he's in decent shape I would expect he finished top 5. Sure he won't be able to match the performance of Evenepoel and Vingegaard, but I wouldn't say that top 5 isn't being much of a factor.
i think 40% of contador posts were one person thoWhen I see this thread, I have the feeling that he is more popular than Contador. This is crazy. Almost 13000 posts with only 22 years old.
Most contentious posts would be the 7 or 9 question for Contador whereas for Remco it is the "yes he can climb" vs the "no he cant climb"
He should not go to the giro. He should go to the tour help pogacar, because he doesn't have the strenght to win a grand tour and beat remco. But, i don't like when someone demean a rider.I had the same reaction when I read Almeida was going to the Giro. Normal font size seems enough. But yeah, he’s not going to be much of a factor assuming everyone’s healthy and fit.
Topic starter isn't Belgian. Red Flanders isn't Belgian. Big Doopie isn't Belgian. Shadow isn't Belgian... i think you'd be surprised by the amount of big posters in this thread, who aren't Belgian.12,600 come from the same 20 Belgians, though. I’m half Belgian so half my posts count.Topic starter isn't Belgian. Red Flanders isn't Belgian. Big Doopie isn't Belgian. Shadow isn't Belgian... i think you'd be surprised by the amount of big posters in this thread, who aren't Belgian.
Most of the hate brigade isn't Belgian, and i'd wager they take up 33% of posts in the thread as well. Maybe now that he has proven he might someday win a big race against good competition, some of the endless debate will fade away. However, obviously we still don't know if he can climb.
Well, change the subforum and there are hundreds if not thousands of Lance pages. You're right but it's still impressive.
Imagine how many posts Lance would have
But I have some German in me so I feel like that negates some of the posts.I’m half Belgian so half my posts count.![]()

One of the journalists for CN thinks the TTT in France will entice Remco ...I don't think so. It's Il Giro all the way.
