Maybe he would go for this. I had never heard of alcohol free beer until sampling some of them yesterday. They are a Denver area brewery headed by a very experienced master brewer. They were all pretty good.
You never heard of O'Doul's?

They unfortunately don't deliver in Belgium, but he might be able to get it via another way. I unfortunately can't.

He's in Belgium now (watching Anderlecht yesterday and he's been posting trainings in Belgium on Strava), and with only 12-13 days to go until Lombardia I guess it's probably not time to go to altitude?
Normally if you target a big classic 2-3 weeks after a grand tour you don't go back to altitude in those 2-3 weeks. If you have an altitude camp before the grand tour, then do the grand tour without going ridicolously deep, you basically have the best training block possible. Just also with a lot of accumulated fatigue. So these 2 weeks are about freshening up as much as possible whilst maintaining the form with appropriately structured training . Going back to altitude would inhibit this recovery process.

Of course if a rider fought for gc he might have gone too deep to recover properly at all on those 2 weeks.

Especially in remco case , he is 23, had an extremely stressful season and did already 4 altitude camps. Doing another would probably put on jeopardy his lombardia more than if he under-trained at sea level.

Looks interesting although I still prefer beer with alcohol. Denver is really a hotspot for quality (micro)breweries. I visited the mile high city multiple times a year while working at a company with main office in Westminster. Visiting breweries was part of my evening activity ;-) Unfortunately those good times are over including skiing in the Rockies, mountainbiking and other fun times with colleagues.

I would expect Remco to stay at Jumbo if Roglic goes to INEOS. Jumbo is not going to let Roglic AND Evenepoel leave. Then what's the point of that extra money from Soudal?

Having enough money to stay on top.

I'm wondering if Remco's dropping out of all Vuelta contention, was not due to the internal stress about this impending merger, with Dad and Don Patrick fighting it out publically (without the public having a clue)? And Remco telling his own dad and Patrick to shut up, or it was going to be a long Vuelta.
I thought I read somewhere that this was all a shock to the Evenepoel crew. Not sure the truth of all that, but I haven’t seen any evidence to suggest they knew about it before.

You'd expect him to end up at Ineos. Otherwise what have Ineos been waiting for? They were clearly preparing for something big to happen on the transfer market, now it's happening and they end up with nothing? That seems unlikely. They have the money, clearly a lot more than Soudal-Visma or whatever that team will be called. And if Lefevere's team folds Evenepoel's contract is null and void.

I don't think they can force Remco to go to Jumbo, can they? Anyway Remco to Ineos makes more sense as they can have their own tw headed monster for GT's. Jumbo still has Vinge and Kuss and all those domestiques. Plus they'll have young talent as well as some good riders coming over from Quickstep or Soudal whatever

No they can't, Remco will go to the team that he thinks will get the most out of him. 1-2M more per year doesn't matter to him, he's aware he'll have more than enough money for the rest of his life. He wants to become a legend, and win as much as possible. That's his dream, not becoming more rich.

And I would think he'll get the most out of his career at Jumbo.
