There are a lot of riders around who are potential winners in a GT, Remco included. Whether they win one is another matter. In QS, stick to the classics and 1 weekers, want to go down the GT route, move teams.

When he wins a GT. Wouldn’t you agree? Just like with basically all other GT contenders. After that, a previous victory can be somewhat used as a predictor for future GT succes imo. When exactly can we draw a conclusion then? Just curious.
I think it's reasonable to wait for the first milestone (to deliver an elite climbing performance) or for the Vuelta (if he is able to stay in contention there). If he delivers both there, be free to expect him to win a GT. If he delivers neither this year, wait with the GT hype. When exactly can we draw a conclusion then? Just curious.
ok..I understand and I basically agree with that, but surely even a small drawing can be made after today.I think it's reasonable to wait for the first milestone (to deliver an elite climbing performance) or for the Vuelta (if he is able to stay in contention there). yes I agree...but what I'm trying to say is that with today's performance his future ability in a GT will be greater. When he wins a GT. Wouldn’t you agree? Just like with basically all other GT contenders. After that, a previous victory can be somewhat used as a predictor for future GT succes imo.
To be fair I hold my hands up to the fact that I was referring to the last 10 years of LBL winners so not mentioning Valverde was a mistaken omission on my partlast decade. Not last 3 decades. Evergreen is just that. His Vuelta victory seems a century ago. Insane.
If so, only very, very little. His performance today doesn't translate well to a GT performance. Neither Jungels's nor Fuglsang's wins (different as they were) said much about their chance to win a GT. And Fuglsang was clearly the strongest in the race uphill, we can't say the same for Evenepoel.yes I agree...but what I'm trying to say is that with today's performance his future ability in a GT will be greater.
500How many UCI points for LBL win?
Like when Valverde won the WCRR in 2018.Looks like he will be up to 4th. Not quite a year after his fist race back after a career-threatening injury. Impressive.
Like when Valverde won the WCRR in 2018.
And while we are on the WCRR topic, the Belgian team selection and tactics for this year will be fun to watch.
I think he did his job very well today. Nobody really wanted to chase with him there. If they want to win, leave WVA at home. He has showed on several occasions he cannot ride as a teammate and insists the team is all for him
Or when Froome came back...Like when Valverde won the WCRR in 2018.
If he loses more sprints that might start to change.I think he did his job very well today. Nobody really wanted to chase with him there.

Yeah good tactics today to lose that sprint to get some credit in the bank for future chase groups to think they can beat himIf he loses more sprints that might start to change.
