Remco went from being pathetic at sprinting to perhaps the best GC sprinter
He does not lose sprints any more
If he for once can follow Remco in races they do together, he can prove it.Pogi beats him in a sprint 10/10 times.
Not in this threadHonestly the notion that he's suddenly the best GC sprinter without having to ever beat Pogacar is pretty ridiculous.
Yeah Segaert isn't the fastest. Still suprising he won after all the work he did. (he was also the big motor of the group before, segaert or campenaert as well).Weren't people saying in the race thread Segaert is a really bad sprinter?

Now prove that.
What is Pog's speed vs Remco's speed in these sprints? Can Pog sprint from as far out as Remco can?
He also wasn't sprinting against Alec Segaert.impressive sprint, though it came just after a small hill so Pog should have won that one
Montreal is 220km and ~5000m of climbing so it’s not exactly a quick Sunday coffee ride. Pogi won that sprint most likely because it was after a long hard race, and he has a pretty good track record in those. In those classics (long ones, Montreal isn't that long), being fresher makes a big difference. (ask VDP , Boonen, WVA). (Hence never say 10 out of 10)
Evenepoel just makes it a longer sprint. On average he starts his sprint 75km from the finish, where as Pogacar waits until 50km from the finish.Weren't people saying in the race thread Segaert is a really bad sprinter?

I think that has already been debated here and many other places enough by now: no, he isn't riding the Tour.So what's next for Remco: the Tour?

It kind of makes sense, because if he felt super, he probably would have followed WVA in the beginning.
