His junior trainer (who had also trained his father) said he didn't get the genes from his father's side, but from his mother. So no contest."Remco is by far The Better Evenepoel"

”Remco Evenepoel the Aaron Rodgers of Cycling”Most fitting suggestion there ever was.
I see where you are going with this and I cant you say dont have a point.”Remco Evenepoel the Aaron Rodgers of Cycling”
....mountain weight?..The "Is Remco at his fighting weight?" thread
It all makes sense now. He has the weight of a nation on his shoulders. I've always said he could still lose weight in his upper body.....mountain weight?..
Remco hasn't been at altitude camp yet so Jonas will win easily.Itzulia is always a great race. Jonas away from the Tour is in the ranks of the mortals on his TT bike so I expect Remco to gain an early advantage but he will need a lead ahead of the final stage because Krabelin is a really brutal climb where I expect Vingegaard to demolish everyone.
Can't wait for Itzulia. What a title! Fatco: God of McDonald's.

True but we have seen the race change course decisively there in the recent past when Roglic wrestled the lead from McNulty with Pogacar on a leash working to try and help keep the GC lead of McNulty.its far from the finish though
That final stage is more like a CSS, which is Remco's wheel house
Stage is 90km shorter than CSS, which is a big difference.its far from the finish though

Belgium is not such a big country and doesn't have many mountains. Surely the weight of the nation is a lot less than other big cycling countries. It all makes sense now. He has the weight of a nation on his shoulders. I've always said he could still lose weight in his upper body.
Did everyone went full gas the whole climb?Pogacar only a few seconds faster than (63kg+?) Remco on 30min climb.

Exactly. Pog rode alone and even eased off in the end. Still faster than the group and the others sprinting for the win last year, in worse conditions.Did everyone went full gas the whole climb?
Jonas was at altitude camp in February. Itzulia is in April, he will not feel the effects of the altitude training camp he did in February.Remco hasn't been at altitude camp yet so Jonas will win easily.
