Losing 2 minutes on a day like today where most people thought it would come down to the last 2 km and maybe even just the sprint.. not good, not good at all!

Can't tell if he or or team was the worst today. Bad performance all around
He was where he needed to be at the serious start of the climb. Hard to blame anyone for effort, including Remco. He has time to improve but this echelon looks alot like last year's Tour.

Better than last year when he finished 3rd in TDF, so…

Of course better, he literally said 2 days ago this was the best shape of his life in this part of the season lol. Last year he was coming from injury, don't even remember if he had altitude camp before the race.

Apparently he didn't mention anything about the crash in the interview

Remco is definitely not peaking too early! I hope he is not peaking too late. Also, I am amazed by the difference in team performance. I hope he rides in a proper GT team next year with all the tools they use nowadays (whatever that may be).
Okay, but he still finished 5th here.

"Only" Pog, Vinge, Lipowitz and Jorgenson ahead of him.

He must be in pretty good form.

He just looked spent from the day and had to take his tempo. He will feel disappointed but not much he can do. I think he did his best.

Like i said, could not watch today. But a look at the standings tells me Pogacar is alright after all.
For a second i thought Vingegaard might be the man to be beat at this dauphine.

From the comments it seems his performance was not good. And the time gaps are indeed quite big. Surprised to see Jorgenson and Lipo ahead of him. And the rest of the pack so close to Remco. I was honestly expecting 1.Vingegaard 2.Pogacar (in an uphill sprint) 3 Remco on about 20-30 sec.

Pogacar proves once again, there is no point in doubting him.

I'm glad next few days are still much watch. Pogacar will win. But behind him it will be interesting to see Vingegaard, Remco, Lipo, Jorgenson battle. They are all within 50 sec. Hopefully remco bounces back.

That crash footage surprised me, wasn't expecting that hard of a crash.

I do hope he'll take the white jersey tomorrow. i rly don't like soudal kit this year. :)

Last year he also won the ITT easily, he’s a TT specialist, he’ll always take those no matter his form. See Romandie
I don't know, he lookwd sharpr on stage 1 and more confident in the interviews, so I expected him to be at agood level also uphill, surely not to be dropped by Lipo and Jorgenson. I can't tell how much the crash affected him, I guess we will know more in the next few days.

Bro he almost lost 2 min on this climb. Thats just not good at all, especially on the back of that ITT, his comments recently and the expectations. Last year was different
I think he suffered after a crash yesterday. And in my opinion, no matter how many 1.5kgs he losses or how much better his shape is, he is not touching vingegard or pocagar in a hard 3 week race. So I didnt expect much better than losing 30s to vingegard, as he did.
