The Sky-Con-O-Meter. Predictions on how much more ridiculous they can get

This is disgraceful. There's not even room for an occasional 'LMAO' or 'ROFL' anymore. This is down right insulting and disgusting. Call the FBI. Tip the Interpol. I'm done with this Tour bar flat stages.

Sky 1-2-3 is Paris is not even a wild thought anymore with the levels os shamelessness displayed here.

It is a little bit of a reach, they only have 2 riders that can make the podium.

LRP was 44 mins adrift at the start of today.

I thought that things like this... These spectaculair performances couldnt bother me anymore and that I would just continue to enjoy the race no matter what.

So today actually hit me hard... Real hard.

I'm a slight Froome fan simply because I'm British. Today was disgusting. I was so looking forward to seeing the big riders against each other. First Nibali falls which was kind of expected. Then Contador and I'm like "ok but he's just coming off the Giro". Then Tejay goes which is whatever. Then Froome attacks Quintana from 7km away and I think finally we're going to see some actual racing. But nope, he drops Quintana and then bloody PORTE COMES UP AND BEATS QUINTANA. Not to mention Geraint patting Valverde on the back sympathetically like he's on a casual ride. I'm speechless.

Reigning E3 champion Thomas riding alongside Valverde up the mountains like he's a parent making sure their kid stays upright on their first ride without the training wheels on.

I can't get over the image of them crossing the line. It was almost a bigger insult than Froome's usual p*sstake. At least we've seen the Froome thing before and mentally prepared ourselves for it.

Yeah, his team "rode such a good race". Zombie stick insect.
The false modesty is kind of sickening.

You know Flo, I'm actually surprised at myself for being as outraged as I am. I am literally livid. The only positive aspect of this dark day has been Gesink's return from the dead.

We'll get to see the Sky motorhome opening the road, plowing the hills away, with Froome drafting behind it whilst receiving continuos blood supply.

I love all the new threads, too bad some are too short lived. Suddenly I can't bring myself to look at the PRR section, it's us getting fooled and talking BS about a BS so massive. Yet I have a lot of laugh reading/listening to some media lauding this great day of cycling or else reporting a very normal race in France. I don't care if it's just the sound of someone vomiting after watching this, but anything that balance out the applause from the other side is good

Now the only question is: how many TV broadcasters will announce "Tourxit" tomorrow alongside with the usual german suspects?

I think this is my sentiment as well. I was expecting a slightly more competitive day. But when Froome goes with 6/7KM TO GO.(After most of the favorites where already on the rivet) You can't help but shake your head. No tactics. No Drama. Just peg it and let the soldiers fall where they may.

Today is the first day in a long time where I was like what's the point of watching. The race for the jersey save an injury/crash is for the most part over. The green jersey is a snoozer and the polka-dot was sterile long ago.

I guess the reason why the clinic is so popular is because it's the only drama left in the sport. Who is doing what and when will they get caught.

I too noticed Thomas patting Valverde - Thomas could have easily out sprinted Valverde and would have made it 1-2-4 for SKY.

How about people look at it this way,

Nibali: Everyone and their mom knew he'd go bang today.
Contador: The reason he did the Giro is because he knew he could'nt beat an inform and uninjured Froome & Quintana, plus he's not 100%
TJVG: He did better than I expected him too, honestly!!!!
Quintana: He will be seen to better effect in a proper mountain stage, a stage you generally associate with the Alps oh and in week 3.

Froome: Whens he's in alien mode he's unbeatable, deal with it people. Anyway in week 3 he'll be tiring and deft defending his position.
Porte: Is a fantastic GC rider in his own right, he just lacks consistency. It's not as though he did'nt do something similar in2013.

Gesink: I'm sorry now but his ride today was deft from out of the blue, in recent years anyway. Surely question marks about him too ??
Thomas: He has changed his physique to better suit the mountains but he'll pay for it tomorrow and Thursday, question marks still to answer though!!!!

Q abuse.....yawn

Nah Thomas slightly more...I think people are pissed as the tour is over!!! If Quintana had finished 5 seconds down, no one would of said a thing about Froome!!! Still would of questioned SKY, but the cycling world hate them anyway.
