Well Basically this has come down to Basso vs Rodriguez vs Kreuziger
Darkhorses are Uran and Hejsedal

You really can't write off half of the top 5 contenders based on a prologue.

I am not writing them off, i just see that they don'Ät have the shape like some others of the contenders have. Hence, under normal circumstances it seems very doubtfull that the losers of today will be the winners in the end.

Andy lost more in B Rider's beloved Tour de France prologue in 2010, than any contender lost here.

He was on the podium by the rest day and in yellow a day later.

Lets not forget that he performed worse in that prologue than most of the "frauds" in this gt, including Frank, Basso, Hejsdal and Good Ol' JR.

And yet he is not a fraud?

Well Andy Schleck is not in this race.
Andy Schleck is on another level then the likes of Scarponi and so on

All of your "frauds" with the exception of John Gadret beat Andy in that tt.

He just hates Kreuziger because he called Rujano's performance suspicious. Just ignore it.
Yeah thanks, I think it will be the best way, because no logic or arguments are helping here.

no. not at all. that makes him an idiot in my opinion. and overrated rider I've named him many times before last years giro. everyone can recall that
So he had to surprise you with fifth resp. sixth place, had he not? ;)

Yeah indeed, it was surprising how lucky he was. He got dropped on the slopes of the Finestre, if you recall. The mountain stages are harder this year. Ain't no getting back after getting dropped on the Stelvio, Pampeago or on the way to Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Why are people beeing so hard on poor Kreuziger, noone in their right mind thinks that he can actually win, but it is stupid to think that he wont challenge the top 5... Nothing overrated by that is it?

Lots of people in the media seem to think he is a major contender. ES commentators today pretty much labelled him the favourite, though in their defense, they seem to think this course is a bit like the 2009 one.

In what you see the luck exactly?

Favourite for what? For win, or for good result in prologue? To say top five is possible isn't overrated I think. People in media maybe think that he is candidate for podium, but even if he isn't, that don't make him idiot or something, as some say.

no. 6th place is normal to me. he always finishes between 6 and 10 in a gt. tour a little less than a giro of course

And this make him idiot? He has nothing to do with that.

Don't know why Basso is so highly considered. He seems way off these days. I think his last big crash has really affected him.

They allowed him to get back on after the descent. If that's not luck I don't what is.
Desagree, they don't allow him to do that, he was just faster (as he is good descender). And he even managed to take few seconds on Nibali, that was no luck.
