Scarponi to win but I’ll be cheering Team Gadret to the rafters. Also hoping for Dupont to top 10 for ag2r

Gadret won't get a stage but will take out the overall win, and by doing so will give Ag2r their one win of the season.

I doubt that on both counts ( overall/ AG2R's only win ).

I will be very happy if Rujano manages to podium. Other than that I'm not bothered. Hope Gadret does ok too. Scarponi wins.

He's not over-rated. He has stagnated yes, but not over-rated as no one expects him to win this Giro. Well, very few people do ;)

well many people expect him to win or podium the giro. the odds say enough.

I think you are overrating Tiralongo a bit if you think its possible he can get a top 5.

I am not saying it is likely, but he will go into this giro as one of the 10 best climbers (if you ask me) and alot can happen in 21 days

Ivan Basso - He's got to be the favorite (not only because of his decent form, but also his experience)
Damiano Cunego - He will win this! ;)
John Gadret - He was just a one-hit wonder
Roman Kreuziger - He still doesn't have what it takes, top 5
Frank Schleck - A well deserved top 10
Jose Rujano - Nobody knows
Joaquim Rodriguez Oliver - Podium
Michelle Scarponi - He'll fade somewhere in the top 10

Terrible rides by Gadret and Scarponi, Frank actually did pretty good in my opinion, lost no more than 30 seconds to any GC rider, Basso has to be in the driving seat now though, Garmin for the TT win?

I'd put Pozzovivo at around the point where the good performances turn into bad ones. Of those, Basso was clearly the one who had it best (also Hesjedal, if we count him as a contender), followed by Urán and Kreuziger.

edit: oh yes and Purito too.

You clearly havent been watching the giro before if you thought Gadret was a 1 hit wonder.
Did I hurt your feelings? In other words, Gadret will NOT win the Giro. Is that's more accurate you?

more trolling from you again taking any cycling discussion changing the meaning totally and making it personal.

As Ryo says, the above has nothing to do with what i posted, though perhaps i was being optimistic by expecting you to understand.

No wonder increased complaints about the forum becoming childish and full of insults, always coincide with and increase of posting from you. .

Great ride by Basso, really didn't espect a good performance from him, especially with all the corners of the first part.
Instead he gained 20 sec on Frank, and almost 30 second on Scarponi.
Great way to start!
