Great story, nice pictures, cool guy. Allez Thibaut!Alexandre B. said:
Same here. He can't start La Glacerie in 80th position, or hell lose 30 seconds, maybe more. Madiot has to be bold, have FDJ up front, get Thibaut in the top-15 comes the climb. He should know better. Otherwise it's a Mur de Bretagne/Huy fiasco waiting to happen. Why not sit on BMC's tail in the last 20km? With Porte/TJVG and GVA for the stage win, BMC will be up front. Fingers crossed...Alexandre B. said:I fear this stage for Pinot. Hectic and punchy finale, stressful day...

I saw this one coming...unfortunately. Oh, well, at least it's not the 30" that I feared.

I thought that he was struggling, and mid-way through the final climb, he and Reichenbach came to the front quite quickly. Then Thibaut was quite explosive when Bardet lit the fuse. Also, nice job in an otherwise super dangerous descent. So far he hasn't spent much energy at all, in the end he looked fresh. I'm starting to feel good. The week-end will tell us more. The Arcalis MTF should suit Tibopino quite well.manolo57 said:He doesn't like short and steep climb like the pas de Peyrol, moreover it was the first climb of the day, not good for his diesel. It was very hot also, no worries for Pinot I think, he will be better this week-end. He didn't lose time, that's the most important. And yes he was one of the few who followed the attack of Bardet, so at the end he was good.
