But, yes, Aru was second in the Giro and won the Vuelta with better luck that Pinot use to have,but, mainly, with a very high level team, in the case of the Giro with people climbing better helping him, and Contador helping Aru to get the second place.
La Vuelta, as well a good team, and he was one of the fresher there. After Froome abandoned, there wanst rival for him, Dumoulin hadnt got team.
At the moment at Algarve, a race without descents and normal weather, Pinot 4th and Aru 9 th.
Last year maybe they just coincided in Milano-Torino, with just 2 second between them.
They are similar kind of riders IMO, although Aru last year got a big palmares in GT.
