Ballan Mediocre Closer.... Bring Me Cadel :p

exactly. He would of rode away on the last lap with TGBM and then dropped TGBM on the last lap and won the race. Ballan has been a joke this season. He couldn't ride faster than "poo" on a stick!!

Cool

I predicted either hagen would win in a sprint, or Voeckler by a late attack
kind of both things happened

See, it's not that hard. ;)

Great ride by Ryder. I can't believe he finished 4th after all that work. Great move by Tommy V!

Looking at the top 10 we see that it was a hard finish. Almost all are renowned from though ardennes type races. Given the company it was very strong by Boasson Hagen to be up there.

It's also a tactical mistake by them which they make over and over and over. Since they refuse to go in breakaways (breakaways are so last year, right?) they always have to be the team chasing. So today they used everyone except from Edvald to reel back the first breakaway, and then obviously Edvald wasn't going to get any help whatsoever in the final.

This was a nice race. Oh, and Gesink should take a month off from racing more often. Montreal will be even better, I think.

Goodfellas is 2nd only to Pulp Fiction in terms of quotability.

Nah scarface. Say hello to my liiil frend.
To make this on topic I bet Tommy Voeckler is saying :You_ with me you _ with the best
and unforgiven.

I thought I was dead til I found out it was just that I was in Nebraska.

Well they did most of the work bringing back the break. After that they failed kinda though. If EBH had 1 guy with him in that last group then he would've won... So yeh .. Sky could use 1 more really strong guy. A rider that's able to stay with EBH till the end. If they had 1 then EBH would have a lot more 1st places.

The entire front group got caught out by Voeckler's move, not just EBH.

EBH came in just after Voeckler - what would more help have achieved?

Anyhoo this race is class. Proof that the UCI giving points to races thing can work. If this wasnt pt i doubt we would have seen the high class field.

Shame Sunday wont be live on Eurosport but oh well.

Is that one more or less hilly than this?

Man that was good. This race is a definte keeper.

Yup, and all teams seemed keen to race here, with action from the word go. Which is what makes it a keeper. If Sunday is another hit, it will probably mean that these 2 races are seen as more than worth the trip. Great little circuit.

It where 400m hills. Nothing Hagen can't handle
Do it x4 that length (Ardennes) and he's nowhere.

It's not a suprise Hagen can handle this. I mean. Boonen did some pretty neat 'climbing' in work like this also. As long as it's not too long they can use their great explosivity to hang on.

Just stop giving them to flattish stage races! Sunday is hillier.
