OK.
Hadn't seen the GC. Just catching up.
He left his legs in Apeldoorn, clearly.
Even fast Theo did better than him ;) (and he rode in Apeldoorn just two days ago)

Westra was sick last week, yes. So I said I wasn't sure. Never counted him out ;)

lol u guyze

u guyze lol

anyway since i was ignored last time ;_; is greipel a good cobbles rider? its good to see a sprinter attack and not just wait for the last 200 meters and if he also can ride the cobbles he could do "well" in paris roubaix if he gains some experience and is lucky.

just sayin

Im not so sure.

We should start a poll. Dekker vs Ryo vs ACF vs El Pistolero. ;)

Too close to call in my book.

Come again? Is that a common expression? I get it though, just haven't come across that one until today. :p

The original is 'People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones'. I was just trying to find the most smartass way to call D_T a smartass.

A very good day indeed. Such a good day that it works retrospectively, since the TT is on Thursday.

I don't know if this has already been asked so,

Does anyone know why Garmin chose not to defend their victory? It would seem with such a deep classics line-up De Panne would have been a good opportunity to get some of their guys besides Farrar,Hushovd and Haussler some racing kms.
Also, speaking of last year's race, where the f is David Millar? Has he raced yet this season? I think Westra has to be the favorite know, he went hard for this against Millar last year if my memory is correct.

Millar's been sick apparently:

Hey, there wasn't any implied criticism in there.
I wasn't even sure it was you who had said he'd been sick.
I wasn't even aware I'd made a contrary prediction.
Just that I hadn't expected him to show here as strongly as he normally does,
because he'd been ill.

Like I said, it looks like he'll be his usual, De Panne self.

Greipel's most beautiful win yet--no train, teammates or BS-just pure power to outrun everybody!!! love it
Nah, his win on the Ardennes stage of the Eneco Tour was better IMO. He even survived the Mur de Huy :)

Dwars and today have no radios. breakaway win
wevelgem on sunday, radios, break caught inside the final km

uhummmm, aha, ummmmmm, very interesting.

I mean, do you awkward radiohaters now go on nerving for whole season by picking out your favorite gummy bears out of the bag ?

Hell, season is still long and you won't change existing rules by doing that.
Obviously radiosupporters and radiodontcarers don't need such cheap trys.

Shall I now pick out races in which breakaways were successful despite radios ?
Or races without radios in which we had a masssprint and breakaway caught short before finishline ?
Everytime, and as soon as finishline is crossed and my favorite bear appeared ?
No, no need for that. But here you have some.

I'd like to see Cavendish ever do something like that...

Of course you need some "genius" riders that take a topsprinter with them in breakaway. :D

Ok, mobbing him out of the group might not be a good idea in case of presence of a gorilla. But that works for people like cuddles.
I think he still wets his Bibs when Spartakus makes "booooooh".

But since Spartakus is the silverback of the peloton, he would even scare away Greipel.

**** me sideways with a kipper. talk about cut a short story long.

I was making an observation with no opinion, more for my own amusement as radios are the current hot topic.

you need to stop taking me so seriously. seriously.

Nah, nah, nah.
Actually, a loornt English frumm Liam Gallagher, ya no whoa a mean, man ?
But "**** me sideways with a kipper." sounds summhow......interesting and new to me, d'ya no whoa a mean. I'll add it to me fockabulary.
See whoa a mean ?

Ok, back to Schwarzenegger voice now.
You can fool yourself.
Hot topic for radiohaters - yes.
But the fact that some of them now even learned to check out, if race is/was with radio or without radio before they post and have decided if race was actually boring or interesting for them, looks like kind of welcome improvement to the "hot topic" that messes up nearly every racethread, even though there are dozens of radiothreads, and even though this "hot topic" is somehow getting very very tiresome.

It's nearly quiet about radios when there was an exciting race with radios.
Just few radiohater-comments that race was terribly boring for them. :D
