Philipe, Philipe Glbert - every one knows his name!
Kirby should be sacked for incompetence BTW. :)

Good god I hate Carlton Kirby.

Fortunately we don't have to suffer it too often.

Still, in fairness to him he does seem to have to commentate on EVERY sport that Eurosport show :)

Great finish by Gilbert.

Pinotti climbing better than Gesink, hardly a good sign for the latter.

Yup, poor positioning is one thing, as he lost 20 positions 2 corners before the climb. But the climbing part didn't give any hope either. He'll have a lot of work for the ardennes.

Ah, there he is this Gilbert :D
Yeah !

That was great - and will deliver me many points in some games. :)

Sad for Gesink, good for others.

What is it with Gesink and positioning? Frustrating really. I'm glad he lost the leader's jersey. Doesn't deserve it if he's constantly gonna blame his positioning for the disappointing results. Good on Cadel though, he's looking strong.

No one else has said this yet but big Chapeau to Almadore. He was out for 230km and kept up a sprint with the best riders in the world who were all fresh.

I agree with the positioning thing, it is very annoying.
He doesn't really blame anyone but himself though.
Surely by now he'd realize hitting a steep slope like that, positioning is crucial.

but he was very poor today.
