What a freak MvdP? Let's put this into perspective. He isn't racing for GC, intentionally lost 20+minutes yesterday to go all in today, whilst the GC ontenders are watching eachother. In the end he will still be 17 minutes back circa.

I'd like to see MvdP go all in for GC and then le'ts see how he goes today, on the wheels at best.

Let's gain some perspective the GC guys set the best time ever on Prati di Tivo, which means they are tired as hell. MvdP no.

It does look like the vast majority of his cx races, only with an even bigger lead.

I've been trying to find a reason for him not letting Wellens go and the only thing I can come up with is that Wellens at some point denied him a stage win or something in the past, but I don't remember it.
