I think it's a coincidence. The pace is probably too high for both of them.Aw, Wout and Mathieu hanging out together in the back of the bunch. I didn't think they were pals.

Van Aert's the real deal? You mean the supporters of van der Poel have been bamboozled?People speak a lot about MVDP, who is an incredible rider, but WVA is the real deal. The man can do it all. Can sprint with the best, can time trial with the best, can climb with the best, can win cobbles races, can win hilly races, etc.
Men, Im impresed with him.
Yesterday Paris-Nice finished just in time to switch over for the Tir-Ad bunch sprint. Hopefully they've gone slow enough in Paris-Nice today that it will be similarly synchronizedSnoozefest in both races at the moment. Hopefully with 50km to go the action starts in TA .

No, I mean Im more impresed with WVA than with MVDPVan Aert's the real deal? You mean the supporters of van der Poel have been bamboozled?
I'm also very impressed with Wout. And i'm also impressed with Mathieu. Neither are cheap knock-offs.
I dunno man, in a couple of days we’ve seen one beat the reigning best puncheur in the world in a final climb punch off... and then the other beat a guy who is by general consensus one of the top 2 bunch sprinters in the world in a bunch sprint. I have great difficulty picking the bigger freak. No, I mean Im more impresed with WVA than with MVDP
Just pick Alaphilippe and you'll be fine.I dunno man, in a couple of days we’ve seen one beat the reigning best puncheur in the world in a final climb punch off... and then the other beat a guy who is by general consensus one of the top 2 bunch sprinters in the world in a bunch sprint. But WVA is more polyvalent than MVDP. I mean, basically WVA can do what MVDP does plus some other things.I dunno man, in a couple of days we’ve seen one beat the reigning best puncheur in the world in a final climb punch off... and then the other beat a guy who is by general consensus one of the top 2 bunch sprinters in the world in a bunch sprint.
