Looks better at the finish for Pogačar than it looked at the intermediate.
Gonna take some effort to prevent him from winning the GC.
But if somebody can do it it's QS combined.

They should really not allow for jokesters like Tusveld to start ahead of serious contenders in a short TT.
They probably asked the teams to put their biggest name at the end, but trying to reason with DSM isn't exactly easy.
That said, I'm impressed by Arensman's TT against such a strong field.

Nice to see Sobrero do a good TT after a not exactly ideal season start. Before the season Copeland said that they wanted to try him as a gc rider here, but no idea if plans have changed.

To me it looks more like Pogačar's kind of ascent.
Though it may be a different complexion twice.

Pog might still be too good. I think MAL could be able to shake him on those climbs. If this ITT is anything to go by he seems to be in form and he is within a good distance.

It is a few stages until then though.

Pogi was bit tired, it was visible. But. It is what it is, wrestling with Pogacar is like that. You don't stop when you're tired, you only stop when Pogi is tired and he's just bit tired..

Vingegaard was quite a surprise. And Lopez too.

Who's writing an email to UCI to add Pogacar as winner for the T-A 2022 and Roglic as winner o P-N 2022?
Those damn Slovenians taking away all the suspense like that. :p

He was beaten by Carapaz, TGH & Angel Lopez at the finish as well.

A surprising (bad) result tbh. I mean this TT is flat, so that shouldn't have happened.

He wasn't part of the Tenerife camp. And apparently only those that were from Jumbo are in top shape, the rest, not so much (even though Jonas managed to win last week).

Pogacar tired? Not in line with the statements his team made after 2020 Tour ITT. They said the kid is so special because he never gets tired, and that's how a guy who had never performed in ITT destroyed Dumoulin, Porte, Roglic, and Van Aert, who were definitively tired.

The same should apply today, Asgreen is probably tired from Strade, Pogacar not.
