Last climb perfect for Sky - whole train to finish together! :)

Yes, I hope so.
But today's performance wasn't impressive.
GT and CF aren't in their best shape (the same with ex-Skyborg Landa). Kwiatek was working so hard for them and finally.. piece of s..t.

well, after 200km up and down all day, normally the field should be in pieces when they arrive at the bottom of the climb. Let's hope so at least.

Big tom can still win this race!!
Doubt it, usually he is much better on short explosive climbs like today (you wouldn't expect it, but he is). I do not think he has a good shape atm due to a slight cold

It won't. They'll be tired, but Sky will have 6 or 7 together at the bottom.

Am I the only one that finds it irritating that this and Paris Nice are run concurrently? Especially annoying when both races have key stages on the same day at the same time like tomorrow.

Probably not the only one, but I find the alternative to be much worse. Besides, tomorrow the different finishes will be so that one can easily watch both.

Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico clash on the calendar but easy to watch both summit finishes on tomorrow on TV/online: P-N forecast finish time of 2.50pm CET / T-A is 4.15pm CET

Betting odds are estimating something like Thomas a 60% chance, Froome 15%, and Kwiat 5% chance for GC. Dumoulin and Kelderman 4% each. I didn't expect the GC to be so finished before the queen stage! But I should have known that the TTT would be the biggest factor.

Not the only one. A bunch of my Spanish friends were complaining about this exact same thing today. Basically want to know why one of the two races can't start about an hour later than the other one.

Tramadol is one hell of a drug.

(and legal so I can make this snarky comment here)

Things didn't quite go to plan yesterday, by the look of it. Rai even missed the finish. On Rai 3 coverage ended with one lap to go (Raisport stepped in then, but still)

It could be very interesting if Benoot and Roglic decide to go before the final climb.

It couldn't. Sky had their whole team in the last 40 riders yesterday.

Weirder stuff has happened and Sky have collapsed, but yeah, that would most likely be suicide.

I say López or Bardet ftw. I think López is in superb shape despite how he rode yesterday.

Yeah, but what is in for them in this race. They're either out of the GC (Roglic), or not likely to finish with the best today (Benoot). So why not try earlier? I don't know, it's maybe a wishful thinking, but I have a feeling this stage could turn into proper carnage. There's plenty of climbing and we're only in March...

A little (belated) fun fact: Kittel's victory Thursday was his first pro win in Italy - despite having won four Giro stages.

He had a crash though.
Being sick as team stated, or form wasn't there anyway, so I doubt he had a shot at the overall.
