From the CN feed: "It looks however like Sky took places 2-5."

That's hilarious. Maybe they were watching a dodgy 244 pixel stream.
Well, tbf both Sagan and Benoot had a lot of white :p

Can we say that Yates loses the Tirreno due to that stage 2 crash?
Yeah, I'd think so. Unless he loses ~38'' to Kwiatkowski in the ITT. But of course, he wouldn't have gotten away so easily today if he was in the lead, so maybe not. We'll see what the TT brings.
I don't know how much harder the peloton could pull in the last 5km though. Bora certainly gave all they had, maybe Thomas could've pulled for Kwiatkowski but he'd already been fried by Yates.
On the climb there would have been a much bigger reaction. Plus, do you really think Adam would have attacked if he was already in the lead? I don't think so.
He would've had a small lead, and needed more on Kwiatkowski
Ofc he would need that, but do you really see him attack while in the leader's jersey? This is Adam, not Simon.

Never seen such explosiveness by A.Yates on this type of climb - Part of the reason ( despite some bad luck ) he was caught behind the crash was the team was built around Ewan - Realistically in the two stages in which he won and was second he was particularly strong, so even he was up on GC, he would still attack because he would lose around 40 seconds in the ITT - Anyway it's likely one of the Yates will be at a different team next year, as MS want to bring on Haig.

BTW, where was Greg? I saw him on the climb, but I didn't see him since.
Dropped. He spent a lot of energy yesterday, finishing just 4 minutes behind Landa.

Strange choice of stage to conquer. Or there really wasn't anybody else for Caruso yesterday? I wanted to see him go head to head with sagan in that sprint.

My 4 star favourites in paris nice and tirreno: bauke mollema and wilco kelderman lolololol
Mollema was just crappy.
Kelderman on the other hand still had a good chance before today.

Man, Poels falling out with a good chance in PN, Kelderman here.. not the weekend of Dutch riders. It's all misery so far.

Lopez far behind again in this short type climb.
It almost seems like everybody who has kinda good in the middle east is going bad here, and people who were going bad in the middle east are going good here.

Lopez was good yesterday though. He just seems to a have problem with these shorter climbs... He looses half a minute every time.

But you still might be right about that though. They that was over there has seemed to be a bit off. Alaphillipe at P-N also supports that theory.

Lopez was far from good in either type of climbs.
