The Inner Ring hints them as main favorites along BMC.

My prediction: a GC team will win.
Reread that. It isn't written by Inner Ring ;)

1. OmegaPharma-QuickStep: Hard to look past them for this. They should be pretty big favorites.
2. Orica-GreenEdge: Another very good team for this.
3. BMC: I think they are a bit overrated for this.
4. Garmin: On paper a very good team.
5. Saxo.

Voted Other/greenedge - Their team is good on such a route. Top5 will include OPQS, BMC on the podium and Saxo and Astana out of the podium

You guys watch out for the Astana and Cannondale guys...terrific form there...maybe they wont win but they'll be there at the top!

I'd still vote for OPQS.

Tony would probably win on his own:D
Easy win for Quick Step.
However, tey didn't bring their top squad. So difference will be 10 seconds max probably

I agree, now a good result for BMC doesn't look like that good anymore.

I voted BMC, missed Tony Martin in the line up of OPQS (how could that happen?!?), but regarding your top 5, i suppose RST at least should be in the honorable mention part, ie 4/5.... Spartacs will pull and they wont wait for AS....

As far as I understand it will rain all day. It's raining here too so the perturbation must be quite big.

the wind did influence the result last year as well. The teams which started in the end (Liquigas / Movistar / Quickstep / Rabobank / BMC) did not stand a chance

It's raining everywhere in Italy.
Don't think it's gonna stop.
