Cav seemed to do a strong pull right at the end. But you'd expect him to want to take the leader's jersey at some point, so yes it's a bit strange he let go in the final meters.

They probably already knew they couldn't beat Rabo at that point and Cav wanted to save his legs.

Although it isn't that strange to see Cav suck at the beginning of a race.

by the was, the race already has started a while ago and the three leaders are:

Olivier Kaisen (Omega Pharma - Lotto)
Leonardo Giordani (Farnese Vini)
Javier Aramendia llorente (Euskatel)

last time gap was 3:30, but that was 45 minutes ago...

It'll be on Rai in a couple of hours, and probably the Gazzetta dello Sport page too.

Rai doesn't work for me but would you have a link to the Gazzetta one?

there's also coverage on Eurosport 2, starting in ~2 hours, so there should be a couple of feeds available

I think Eurosport does highlights directly after Paris Nice... I was watching the end of PN yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to be switched to the replays of the TTT

Sticking with RS 2 it seems.
The oxymoron that is "live" snooker seems set to run on and on, with Eurosport 2.

It's followed after T-A with the even more exciting sport of "Table soccer" though (I'm not kidding!)
