still a really open race, shame that tomorrow's stage is shortened. I hope the Forca di Presta will still be used, that will really hurt the riders. And make it interesting.

strong team ride by bmc to chase, evans poised for gc (even though caught napping), auscycle happy and ready for bed at 2:50am!

Yes, nice to see that Michele Scarponi can ride up a 20% gradient with a smile on his face, while the likes of Vince Nibali grovels.
Not at all suspicious of falling back into his old bad habits.
Gianni Savio's wild bunch.;)

What happened to BMC? All at the front. One little dig from Vino and they're all off the back.

Full results finally up.

Flecha was, perhaps surprisingly, the best-placed Sky rider, 23rd at 0:49. Lovkvist came in at 1:15 and Eddy Bos at just under three minutes.

I agree with Mellow Velo, suprise suprise the old operacion puerto client wins...

Vaugrenard looks again improved since last year, where he was pretty good in the ardennes classics. He'll never be a winner, but he could suprise in one of them.

Tomorrow a more mountainous stage right?

Tomorrow is defintely the Queen Stage. 200km+ again, and the last 100k are almost continuously up or down. Right before the finish there is also a nice ramp of about 1km with an av. of 15% or so....

Scarponi owns the peleton again most likely
