If their only goal is winning the overall with Froome, yes. Having all your men with him at all times is the safest. If they were open to other options tactically then Henao should have stayed.

I think a lot of riders weren't mentally ready for this one. It's been brutal last three days with each stage "twisted in its character" to render T-A a serious challenge...
