Go all out man, I would if it were my favorite rider. Evans was incredibly strong today, deserved win and I hope he takes the overall. Cheers.
Seconded.
And BMC was awesome today. Never saw them like this.

Just accept it... Cadel proves you wrong today and big time!
Dude! He beat Visconti and Scarponi! Visconti!!! You can't argue about that...

I put Il Principe in the top 3 tomorrow after the TT ;)

Just put him on ignore. That solves it.;)

At who's expense? Highly doubt that.

Yeah, especially at the end. Ballan absolutely crucified himself and Big George was up there until the foot of the last climb. Rode great to defend the jersey and even better to set up Cadel for the final charge.

Damnit, I missed this race. Congratulations ACF, seems Cuddles destroyed everyone.

Does anyone have a link to a summary, looking forward to see how Gesink struggled and still gained a position in the GC (lol how :D?) and how Cuddles won. Seems Euskatel is the last team without a win, enjoy while it lasts ACF and prepare to get dropped by Gesink later in the season ;)!

I can see Il Squalo making 2nd and Il Principe 3rd... a final GC like:

Cuddles
Il Squalo
Il Principe
Michele
Basso
Bobby G

I'm sure most of us expected Visconti to take that by a bike length. But Evans worked hard to get a good line into the corner and just powered it all the way to the line. Similar to the way in the Giro when he beat the favoured finisher in Cunego. It's not so much punch as how he resisted and endured attacks and saved something for the final 500m. Very hard to come over the top of someone as strong as Evans accelerating out of sharp corners like that.

Pistolero is correct I think in saying that he's less suited to Cauberg than steeper finishes like this or Mur de Huy where he is now showing himself to be one of the best. A bit irrelevant though, he did everything correct today and was the winner, the team were exceptional.

If Cunego, Scarponi and Basso stay ahead of Gesink in the GC with a flat 9km TT to come, I'd be really really suprised.

If only Gilbert was in Rabo, he'd still be 10 seconds ahead of the second :p

Holy crap, Ivan Basso really annoys me. He has been such a lame rider the last few years. Can't help despising him.

And please don't Zoncolan me now.

Also: props to Cadel.

Nah I dont want to miss some nice discussions here... lately you can see:

El Pistolero vs Hitch
El Pistolero vs c&c
El Pistolero vs all the dutch mafia
El Pistolero vs ACF mafia
El Pistolero vs the world
:D

Dude I'm not a really Cuddles fan (in fact I was yelling for Visconti and Michele in the last mts) but I'm happy for him... He rides with guts... Cavs maybe can have 20wins this season but a win like Cuddles had today worths more than that...

Well, it's a fine way to lose a bet, anyway. ;)

Looking forward to seeing the highlights and congrats to you, ACF, now you can breathe again! :) Let's hope Cadel's taste for winning turns out to be contagious at BMC.

Lately I haven't been attacking the Dutch maffia :p

But I fail to see how this climb even resembles the finishing kilometers of Luik-Bastenaken-Luik. So why would I be wrong, I never said anything about Cuddles not being able to win this stage(I was thinking Di Luca or Il Principe though). But as usual ACF gets **** hurt when you say something about his cyclist(and takes it out of context) while he's still running around with that ridiculous sig of his.

Gilbert was 41 seconds back in the TTT
.
Now he's 33 seconds back in the GC.

8 second advantage if he would be on Rabo. I fail to see how you can argue against math.

The answer remains the Pope, but as long as Frartzfinger doesn't start competing as a professional cyclist, Basso will bother me more intensely. :)

The stage where Contador and AS were playing poker and lost 10 seconds was seriously the only time I saw Menchov.

Extremely creepy.

Well at least Basso is riding at the front and getting good placings/wins this year. More exciting than everyone's mate Andrew.

Good guess: Menchov is also on my annoyance list.
