froome lost little more than 1 minute over 52 km in that itt, which is very good, he also beat thomas btw. should I post some wiggins itt results of 2010 and 2009?

cancellara in 2012 is not great long distance itt rider. not to be compared to 2010 wiggins

Selective edit, he was between Wiggins and Thomas. I'm not claiming Thomas is as good as Wiggins, but he can time trial well. The time differences also suggest Froome is pretty good.


I'm not even sure why you are arguing this point. Froome has been consistently good at the ITT for the past four years, it is probably the least questionable part of his performance in this race.

Kreuziger only does well in uphill TTs. On every other course he's been crap for years now.

Giro 2011 final TT was actually good GC wise, only Nibali was 8 seconds in front him. TdS 2012 wasn't that bad considering Giro in his legs and extremely hard schedule he absolved until than.
And he actually did very few of them to be fair. Last Astana **** management cut him.

But yes, he is worse than he used to be, I agree with that. But crap isn't right word.

In 2008 TDF Timetrial Stage 20 - Froome was nearly 2 1/2 minutes ahead of Nibali, and on the Alp D'Huez stage Froome was over 6 minutes ahead of Nibali (and no Froome was not in a break)
