If Boonen wins Roubaix again he is going to do a mountain of snow so big Alberto Tomba couldn't ski down it

He has already stocked up on the blow?

I don't know, but I was going to start a 'Which 2010 post race party would you like most to attend?' With the only answers to the poll being a. Tom Boonen's Winning Paris-Roubaix Party and b. Tom Boonen's Losing Paris-Roubaix Party...

I'm watching a really choppy stream, did BMC just manage to get two guys off the front or am I misreading the jerseys?

They had a shot at making it to the finish but they've just started playing silly games and look like getting caught at the line.

Team sky train a-comin!

What a bizarre, bizarre finish! I don't know if it was just the lens forshortening but it really seemed like the Sky leadout guys were right on the back wheel of the break and then they sat up and no-one came through.

[edit]Yeah, looking at the overhead it was all back together in the final turn and then they just let them go again. Weird.

Yeah, Gerdemann won it out of the breakaway.

Honestly that was probably the strangest last KM I have ever seen, I have never known a break to get caught with 750m to go and then let go again at 500m to go, I guess whatever train it was that pulled the pack up to them (probably Cervelo as Timmy said, hard to tell in winter gear) just ran out of guys and the people on their wheels didn't want to pull through.

I'm watching PN.... Did Timmy say that Linus Gerdemann took the stage?

he did indeed. Breschel 2nd and lastras 3rd. about a group of 40-50 at the end i think.

btw: watching P-N on telly and T-A online. an excellent combination :p

Quite weird indeed. Only Gerdemann finished ahead of the peleton?

They must've been riding pretty hard if Lastras, Breschel and Gerdemann are in the break and the peleton was only 50 people.

Gonna be a nice race :p

I'm very happy to see Gerdemann and Milram getting a win; hope their season keeps on rolling this way as this is the 2nd win this year!

Classic, nobody wanting to close the last centimeters. Usually only happens in small chase groups, but this was hilarious.

Linus who? Where's Snoopy?

Seriously, seeing as how it was Gerdemann's horrible crash in the final TT of this race two years ago, when he was all set to wrap up the overall victory, which seemed to knock him off the pace of his development, I hope he stays on to take the race this year. Still, just this stage alone has got to mean a lot to him. Great news.

Apologies for the horrible syntax. I need more coffee.
