Shame Daryl Impey isn't here. I don't know if he and Bos have been on the same road at the same time since Impey started racing again.

This stages does look like a sprinter's delight. Still disappointed by most of the stages, which are likely to end in sprints and breakaway groups actually. Though Stage 6 is very tough with over 10,000' of climbing, it still has a finish drawn out enough to regroup. As said before by many, they moved the race to May for little reason, as far as the course is concerned.

LL should be a 10:1 favorite here. He's on the most powerful team, this is his peak focus for the entire season, and it's a 2HC race, where he and RS can control the race much more so than in a PT tour, and there's no one really on GC to top him unless he has a bad day.

It's a shame that Pellizotti screwed things up and Nibali couldn't be here as planned - I think he could have added a lot to the mix.

This is a huge race for Radio Shack - they blew off the Giro so they could have their Dream Team minus Kloden together for this race. Quick Step already passed them in the UCI team rankings, Garmin can with another stage win, Sky is close and some other teams are getting closer. If The Shack doesn't shine here, it's a pretty epic fail for the month.

I think a big part of Levi's past victories were a combination of local knowledge and his willingness to be close to a hundred percent of form in February while Europeans were just starting to stretch their legs. So figure he'll be at the same level of fitness, or a bit higher, than his normal February, while other guys will show up three months fitter than before. Think back to Cancellara's back to back classics wins, and compare that to his normal mid-February fitness.

I hope it will be an entertaining race, with lots of guys getting involved. I don't see Radio Shack dominating. And I'm kind of curious who made the decision not to invite Astana.

I'm rooting for Mick & Jens!, and hoping for a show from Sagan, Spartacus and Chichi. It would also be good to see Andy look strong in the mountains with just seven weeks until the Tour.

Mick is a good person to cheer for, as he could compete for GC.

To me the issue is that this is RS's 2nd biggest race on the calendar. The first being everyone behind Lance for the Tour. I don't think they'll dominate, but they will be trying to win and control the race, beyond any other team. Many other riders are likely hoping to win, and fitter than in February, but aren't peaking for this the way LL and RS are.

Good catch, theyoungest. Impey called Bos a "chockhead" last year, and said he'd confront him when he finally saw him. Do you know what, if anything, happened? Still bummed Impey signed with the Empire.

They've reportedly shaken hands and buried the hatchet. Impey even said that maybe without the "fame" he gained from this incident he'd never signed with The Shack.

The first years they had a great commenter, until a certain rider made it clear that they should not hire his ex-teammate again.

Yep, great tracker. Even better now that Phil's mic isn't working.

Has anyone ever figured out the relationship between fat guys, nudity, and running alongside the peloton? Is that an American thing?
