He won Battenkill as a Cat 5 then as a Cat 4 then again as a Cat 3. He has been doping for a quite a while. He turned Cat 2 this year. He only started racing in 2008, so he must have hopped on the juice almost immediately.

One or two dopers being caught is perfect. It gives the events a sense of propriety where there is none. It allows the doping to flourish while the UCI/your local federation/bike industry can make some money. None of those parties are individually advocating doping and that's the point. Plausible deniability(sp???) for all and make money at the same time.
Look at it another way, lots of people that have no need for a power meter are well and fully invested in them. EPO use is the next power meter/carbon wheel/whatever to these jokers.

The complainers aren't Pros. They are Pro-Am racers, or Neo-Pro at Best. They are forced to still race with Amateurs. Isaac Howe is an example.
Maybe we can call all these US racers "Pro", but let's call these complainers what they really are. Neo-Pros. At best.
Pros ride the Pro Tour. George Hincapie is an example.
