He would probably have won if he didn't have to do leadout for Greipel on the first couple of stages. He had superform and wanted to get bonus seconds in the sprints but he was forced to do leadouts instead. This caused him to get quite frustrated and he showed this by winning a sprint on stage 4 from 350 meters out while Greipel was unable to pass him. Clearly he could've gotten an extra 11 seconds in bonus seconds prior to this if they had let him. Actually this situation was part of the reason of him leaving HTC, so clearly TdP is a really important race :p

Do you rank Cancellara over Lorenzo because the motor's better hidden?:D

As to the inclusion of Pooley and Vos, perhaps, but I'm not sure you can make the direct comparison because of the relative shallowness of the women's fields. That's not to take anything away from their achievements, they can only beat those who turn up.

Yes, Cancellara's more subtle about it.

To be honest there should have been space for Rossi there, the old master's still had enough in him over the last 3 years to merit inclusion.

I'm a big Samu fan, but what has he done to deserve to be ranked above a rider with a Giro win, a Tour podium & two other GT top 10s?

Fabian without his special bike is not that good.
Evans might not win another race

I have no idea what they are saying other than something about the "Moh-ti-rolo" e Tonnale and something about Cunego.
