Yes Lance is a better TDF but against inferior competition
Greg was racing Paris Roubaix and other classics and one day races like Worlds against the likes of Kelly, Moser,Hinault etc
So Lemond is comparable when you consider the competition
Greg beat riders who had over 20 TDF wins between them Lance 2...
