Which begs the question: where does your interest in cycling come from?

it was really simple the day before the 09 tour de france I read a news paper article about the main contenders evans, menchov, contador, armstrong. So I went to watch it on cable to see what it was like on the monaco prologue and I immediately got hooked and watched most of the 09 tour. After that I watched the vuelta and the next season I was properly watching cycling and I got really addicted to it.
Unfortunately no one else I know in singapore shares the same interest.
I do have weird interest such as cricket which is really uncommon for a chinese like me.

None who have ever had CQ points, but we do have some South Asian Gold medalists because the Indians also suck at cycling.

I am from Indonesia and I'm not going to do the list. We only have world class athletes in badminton, weight-lifting, and few boxers. I admit I put too few interest in the history and current local scene, but I can still remember most riders that I've watched when I was a child from Tour de Java, when it's still one of people's favorite sport events, but I wasn't sure how they stood among the Asian cycling scenes, or how to compare them with the later generation when cycling was no longer that popular. The only idea I have is that Tonton Susanto is probably the only Indonesian rider known to many Indonesians.
As for international cycling, I have followed the news since the Tour de Java days when I read about Hinault and Kelly in the papers. In the Armstrong's years we have TdF live on tv, and it's the first time I watched world class cycling. And now we have cable tv and internet, though I still don't know if there is other people who use them to watch pro-cycling as much as I do.

I can do my version for Spain or Italy more quickly

Which begs the question where is that Kazakh? He not only won the olympics. He won Liege twice, which is the equivalent of like, 10 tour de france titles.

Bahamontes and Pantani could be higher. Magni, Faber, Roche and Ocana as well.

They don't even have Armstrong on the list which is a joke when you consider there are other dopers on there too.

That one seems to rate GT's much higher then Classics though, hence De Vlaeminck coming in 16th.
