nobody is tipping who is going to win the stage today. Does anyone care?

Probably Martin or Cancellara, but hoping for Contador. Or a dane.

Contador isn't in top shape, he'll be tired and at somewhat less than 100% motivation. He shouldn't have a chance, although the course suits him. I can't really look past the obvious Cancellara/Martin.

Advantage could be, if it is dry when he's up, and raining for Cancellara and Martin.

Which is an indication that his form isn't all that. I don't think he'll win. I think Tony Martin, but I hope Contador. Also wouldn't rule Velits out. And look out for Thomas de Gendt to be a surprise top 5/10.

This Time Trial will be the most important ITT Cadel Evans has ridden in his career to date. It represents his greatest ever chance to win the Tour. And perhaps ? his last. With a 57 second deficit in time, and given his ability as an accomplished ITT I cannot see Cadel letting this slip from his grasp.
