heart hopes that contador takes it
El Pistolero said:Which is an indication that his form isn't all that. I don't think he'll win. I think Tony Martin, but I hope Contador. Also wouldn't rule Velits out. And look out for Thomas de Gendt to be a surprise top 5/10.

There is rain or damp roads forecast, and the road through Saint Martin d' Uraige appears to have a few twists (hairpins) coming into town and then in the top of the descent (road D280), until they come back onto the D524 for the run back into Grenoble.
Maybe not at all suited to Andy? He admits that he has not even done a recce of the course as of Friday afternoon - Cadel has raced it not many weeks ago.
Thoughts?
By early morning, showers are observed. In the morning, a cloudy weather still remains with occasional showers, particularly between Vizille et St.-Martin-d’Uriage. Until midday, fog hill is likely on Uriage’s hill. The last showers are expected at 3 pm. Then bright intervals develop and the weather will be dry. In the morning, asphalt is wet, dries up at noon, and dry for the leaders. Winds : Light northerly/northwesterly wind at 5/10 kph with some gusts at 15/20 kph Temperatures : Grenoble 9 am : 16 degrees 12 am : 18 degrees 3 pm : 25 degrees 6 pm : 22 degrees 2 or 3 degrees colder at Saint-Martin-d’Uriage
