Ok..
Maybe going all out on the Alpe is the best preparation for a TT, possibly the TTers who were at the front yesterday were just feeling good???? Either way, look out for Velits as well, then

Never mind, it just started.

So how do you guys like my new avatar? I was thinking of changing it to a Cadel avatar for today's festivities. Who thinks I should do that?

When did that happen? I really don't mind riders giving over attentive spectators some persuation to leave them alone.

Hardly surprising, considering Cancellara is almost 2 minutes behind "Machine" Martin's Dauphine effort.
Weather closing in?

lol

Everyone who got close to Cancellara faded.

That shows that he went slow at the start and fast at the end.

You will see a few riders beat Contador's first check time.

I thought Galland had done an excellent job of ensuring he would be slowest for the day but Fofonov looks like he is going to give him some strong competition.

Poor Thor. Norwegian cyclists made a disproportionate impact on this year's race, then they have to hear about this ridiculous tragic crap happening at home.

He beat them on the wet descent. When it got flat in the final 5km he took a whole 1 second out of Koren.

Yeppers. Yesterday, on the Alpe. Apparently the guy touched him or spit in his face or something and, suddenly, POW, Contador is channeling Muhammed Ali. :D
