I'd be surprised to see any of the GC top 5 in the top 5 of Saturday's ITT. Too many mountain climbs near their limit. There will be drama, but not domination from the yellow jersey.

I'll post it again

15km TT check - Evans needs to be at least 20 seconds faster
27.5 TT check - Evans needs to be at least 38 seconds faster

At the end he needs to be 58 seconds faster.

5?

You mean 57? :p

1 Pierre Rolland (Fra) Team Europcar 82:57:40
2 Rein Taaramae (Est) Cofidis, Le Credit En Ligne 0:01:33

How good is Rolland's TTing?

Also:
4 Thomas Voeckler (Fra) Team Europcar 0:02:10
5 Damiano Cunego (Ita) Lampre - ISD 0:03:31
6 Alberto Contador Velasco (Spa) Saxo Bank Sungard 0:03:55
7 Samuel Sanchez Gonzalez (Spa) Euskaltel-Euskadi 0:04:22

I don't think Basso at 8th will be a factor here, but is it possible that the two spaniards take 4th and 5th now?

I'm gonna say Cadel, just because I want him to. Luckily no Leopard 1-2.

Do you guys think Contador can make up 3 mins on Frank??

if Contador goes for it maybe

The important thing that I think you posted re last yer itt

Was that Andy lost 2.30 ish to Denis last year - if Evans is on he could own Andy but he maybe toast a huge amount of work in the last 2 days.

ACF Evans always backends his ITT

he did more for sure, but so did evans.

Recuperation abilities will play a big part.

Andy should ask canc to wait for him :p

Logic fail.

But yeah, Evans did a lot of work too obviously. We'll just see I guess.

I also see Frank losing max 2.30 on Evans. Evans is going to catch him but Frank will stay relatively close til the finish, having a reference in Evans' tempo.

If Cadel takes the yellow he really did it PERFECT this tour.
I always thought the only way for him to win was if he takes yellow the last day, so he doesn't have to defend it too long with his team.

It all worked out perfectly this Tour. Although I think he'd rather be at 30 seconds than 58. But it should still be possible.
