anyone think they will pull the break back before the int sprint ?

5 min in 40 km ish

I hope they do. Cav needs it, and it'll be more exciting.

didnt even think about that :p - half of the world watching the TDF will be sleep deprived..... the level will depend on their location

Well, Americans can watch it in the morning, it's mostly just a problem for you Easterners. ;)

No idea. Maybe he's drunk?

Or fell on his head?

Or maybe that's just his local accent?

Or...?

Fair enough, thanks for the link anyhow

I think the worst has to be Hawaii, where the live broadcasts usually start at 2:30 AM. Slightly better for me in LA - 5:30 AM.

they have other talented riders like moreno, hoste, paolini, killer, pipo, vantomme

For one reason or another most of those are not really feasible. Hoste I'm pretty sure is out indefinitely. Pippo had a crash as well didn't he ? Di Luca did the Giro and TdS, Moreno had a hard early season ... so I can understand why they've thought "might as well give the Russian kids some experience"

I would have thought we'd have seen more of Kolobnev and Galimzyanov this week, pity :(

For an upcoming sprinter Galimzyanov has been rather good. Better than Swift so far, even Pettachi.

But Petacchi has been rubbish and Swift has been mostly a leadout man.
