Man oh man, annoying flat stage, tiny breakaway, and then when they get a chance to actually win for once they decide to start playing silly games and looking at each other with one K to go and throw it all away. What a stupid day.

As mentioned, not as gutting as the Tony Martin Vuelta stage, but still close. There's nobody specifically to blame, but it's annoying to see a rare escape victory in a flat stage snatched away at the last second by the guys that win all the time anyway.

And to add insult to injury Sagan beat Coquard in the sprint anyway.

Yeah, poor little guy. I'd say that's just what happens if your qualities (or lack of) as a rider require the peloton's mercy or stupidity for you to get a win in the Tour.
