Yeah. Once Froome managed to get a large gap on second, with the podium places much closer, it was obvious he wouldn't be subject to the anti Sky alliance half the forum is wishing for.

Weird racing, imo. From the coverage and commentary...

seems from earlier actions.... puzzling behavior from Nibs, Valverde,...Contador tried - no one went with him

Because they have no interest in winning. . Valverde could win the tour or lose everything, but he might hurt little Nairo's feelings and is too scared to attack anywhere besides the last KM.

And people wonder why they are literally getting pissed on. It's not right, but what does Brailsford expect? He has designed a team that looks and rides a race as though Johan Bruyneel was calling the shots.

Astana did the same in the Giro, no reaction.

You have to say they've all missed a big opportunity to attack Froome properly on that climb. He was down to 2 teammates, but now even Stannard is back on. Maybe they're aiming to do the same on the Allos.

Contador attacks and Froome looks like getting isolated but Moviestar chase him back. Now we have Froome surrounded by 4 team mates but I'll save my rant if Moviestar do something later (and they'd better do)

And why wouldn't he do that? Clearly that's the best tactic for him. He's never gonna climb up any higher in the GC so his biggest rival is Contador.

Not sure that Contador has the form to hang on for so long. Valverde should attack over the top of the Allos; he should be able to distance Froome in the last 500m and then go all out on the descent.

Peloton going so slow that Stannard has recovered and is on the front. Will be interesting to see what Tinkoff and Movistar have planned. SKY is riding smart trying to keep as many teammates as possible around Froome.

The official reason that I was banned (I contacted Andrew Eadie who is a salaried Cycling News guy and is head of this thread) was for "hypothesising" something bad might happen to a rider.
