Enough well-represented teams with GC ambitions to drive the break (AG2R, Europcar, Cannondale).
Who's chasing? LottNL or something?

sagan to bring contador to them?

which descent is difficult enough to make that possible?

None, cause Contador isn't better descender than Nibali, Quinatana, Froome and Valverde. We saw it yesterday.

What did we see in tour du sud?

Willingness to take risks in an inconsequential race?

yup, he's not himself. The point is that sagan is. All that is needed is for sagan and contador to get small gap, so that nobody can use their splipstream and sagan's descending skills and weight. If you have good descender in front of you, it's easier to follow him than it would be to make the same descending time without his slipstream/guidance through corners.

Nibali is your guy right? He said that yesterday didn't mean anything since it's super easy to follow someone's line. So????

And Contador crashed, *** happens. Did nibali never crash in his life?

Bertie and Nibali's GC positions under threat if this break is let go, more of a problem for them than Sky.

We saw Quintana not bother to risk anything. That's about it.

No sky up the road. That could prove to be an error on their part ... hopefully it'll encourage the other teams to create some carnage.

I'm not sure those 2 really care about top ten positions. Gesink and Mollema do though...

Well let's try to enjoy the show that will be propsoed by the break. Nothing will happen with the GC guys before the Glandon now.

Bardet should save eneergy, let the others tire themselves out chasing KOM point then go the stage win...

Rodriguez first at Rampe du Motty
Purito passed first atop the Rampe du Motty and scored two KOM points while Serge Pauwels took one. The Catalan rider is now only two points down on KOM leader Chris Froome.

If Bardet really had a hunger knock yesterday, like he said after the finish, he will have a hard time in following the best from the break. You always have to recover from that.

Lotto-Jumbo again with no rider in the break

Such a pathetic team.

The thing is that they shouldve send Ten Dam en Kelderman home a week ago.
Ten dam dislocated shoulder, recovered pretty well in the pyrennees so he got hope to ride aggresive in the Alps, but is suffering from severe bronchitis since they finished plateau de beille.
Kelderman his back painful, but at some point he could manage, but then he also got sick again.

Just send them home and tell them to prepare for the Vuelta as this is useless.

Kruijswijk will probably attack again tomorrow and the others besides Gesink are domestiques.
