Froome won the Tour in Zeeland, without it he would have been 9 seconds behind

Where?

He attacked whenever he could, he just wasn't stronger in the final week

If only Movistar had been riding like this earlier and not for Valverdes 3rd placering and only if Nairo hadnt been caught behind the crash on stage 1. Clearly the best and strongest rider in the Tour. Next year he will hopefully be more confident and dare more

This ^^ great tour!

Valverde was incredible today. Definitely deserves his podium.

Indeed, he does.
Allthough I think Movistar has been to conservative at times and I always had the impression that was to protect Valverde, but he sure rode his best TdF so far.

Movistar needed a rider like Anacona was in this stage for all hard stages. They never really had anyone besides Valverde and Quintana most of the time.

I was cheering for Quintana to take the stage but Pinot is a worthy winner too, though I would've preferred Hesjedal to take it.

Wow..Jungels in front of Contador,Mollema,Nibali on Alpe
He could actually be a good gc rider in some years, if his climbing improves even more, combined with his TT abilities
