Well done Richie Porte. Top effort!
He saved the tour for Froome.

Poels did that yesterday, gave him a margin going into ADH.
You can look at it that way but today Froome was on the ropes BIG TIME...

Not disputing that one bit, but Poels yesterday won it. He could have lost a considerable amount of time. Porte, Poels on the mid to high sections of ADH. Roach and Thomas getting back onto Froome protecting him from attacks on lower sections of the climb. Extraordinary Team effort.

Well deserved win by Froome. Been the strongest over the three weeks (excluding last two days). Nairo was a beast today! Sad for him he did not win the stage though :(

Gratz Pinot for the win and Froome for the overall.
Deserved podium for Valverde, I don't think Nibali would have overcome him anyway without the puncture.

Quintana might have some regret for not trying before and harder, but hes young, plenty of opportunities and good lessons for his future.

Congrats to Pinot! A great ride by Nairo as well, I wonder what might have happened if the final few km weren't so flat and Froome didn't have such a strong team. In the end it was flat and Froome did have a strong team- congrats on a second TDF.

So Quintana winner of TdF 2015 in my books

Take your nonsense elsewhere. You have already had one post deleted...

Which one?
I cant have Quintana at the top in my books, why so mad?

Froome won so why would I be mad? You are the one attempting to troll cause you have nothing better to do.

I dont get it. My books, my opinion, I can have Quintana at the top in MY books, can't I?
Dont get so angry all of the sudden.

Two days ago I said that the race is not over and Quintana could still threaten Froome (who seemed to be getting weaker). It wasn't enough (first week was crucial) but at least Nairo proved to be the strongest man in the Alps. Froome had two super strong domestiques - if not them it could've been even closer. Fortunately last two alpine stages were very interesting contrary to the rest of the race. Anyway, congrats to the winner.

So once again the Tour was won / lost in the first week ?

Sadly yes, or as Cosmo Catalano would say: ... and that's how the race was lost. (Also by not softening Skyborgs from the mountain No. 2).
