Froome to drop everyone on the last climb and solo to victory.
I believe the group of favourites will get to the last summit together. But he'll drop everyone on the descent.
One fact makes me unhappy: If it rains, the hell will open its gates.

Sky doms in GC:
7th Landa 2'55"
12th Nieve 7'30"
16th Henao 13'46"

Kwia, Kiri, Knees and Rowe are over an hour behind, Rowe is indeed lanterne rouge at the moment.

If Landa tries to go a break, he will be chased. Nieve and especially Henao can be let go and AG2R can counter Henao by Vuillermoz or Latour who are between Nieve and Henao.

Is Henao really someone to even mention this year? Getting dropped instantly all the time.

Most likely by Sky riders, while Portal completely loses it in the team car

Don't think Sky will send Landa in a breakaway. He will be crucial for Froome on Mur de Peguere, especially on the final steep section. But Sky will probably try to get som guys in the break, maybe Henao, Nieve and/or Kwiatkowski. If Froome drops on Peguere he would surely like to have someone like Kwiato to help him the last 25k.

20 second penalty for Uran withdrawn, so within 35 again.

Great news.

They had to - Mr. Bardet behind Aru...

Is it overly cynical to say that they only withdrew it because they couldn't justify not giving one to Bardet if it stood <_<

Wow, that is pathetic from the ccommissaires, so transparent.

Just embarrassing how these rules are applied.

But I'm very happy Uran and Bardet didn't get a penalty.

Let Sky go wild with Nieve in the early break, Landa to attack on the 2nd climb and then Froome to go berserk in the end.
If Froome fails, we will still have a very interesting race because of this.

Or option B. Let Nieve destroy the field from the start, Landa to destroy everyone on the 2nd climb (with Froome) and then a one on one battle betwee the GC men on the final climb and downhill.

I hope the other contenders get rid of Kwiatkowski early enough that he won't be able to make it back to Froome on the descent, he'll easily neutralise any gains otherwise. If anyone gets a decent gap, Landa and Nieve probably won't be too much of a threat of bringing them back easily.

I'm glad that Uran doesn't have 20s anymore but the reason (Bardet) why the penalty got removed is just ridiculous.

Exactly, Astana and Sky just have to accept this? 20s could still make a significant difference.
