A group of favourites could've put atleast a minute into Froome today, but they are afraid to work together. Uran, Bardet, Aru and 3 others could've left their doms and go all out....
Of course but they are all concerned about their beloved podium chances. Froome wins this TdF being something like the fifth-sixth climber in the race.

Barguil's a beast.

I know people here want him to be a stagehunter, but I can't see how he's not a GC prospect.

He probably is in the future, but i see him not winning GTs. And isn't he exciting this way?

Alberto still hanging on! Hope he can keep it going, and if we are very lucky, we might witness and enjoy an attack ;)
Why would he attack? He can't win the stage.
Teammate up the road going for the stage too

Sad indictment of AG2Rs tactics that Vuillermoz is still in the favourites group. Incredible that he was he not burnt out to try to keep Froome at bay.

I'm so angry! Idiotic racing from the favorites!

It's almost worse than if they hadn't done anything. They had Froome on the ropes and then just forgot to punch him out.

Wonder if that had happened to Aru, Bardet or Uran if they could've closed down that 50 second gap on the climb ...

Think the plan was to go over the top with 3 or 4 riders to finish Froome off for good in the last 30km, didn't work obviously...
