The favourites should have taken pulls themselves instead of hoping that AG2R domestiques would go faster than Froome.

This.. AG2R domestiques were never going to seriously put Froome and Sky under any real pressure.... extremely strange that they didn't work together, crest the top first, and force Froome plus whoever to chase a determined group for 20+ km....

I'm so angry! Idiotic racing from the favorites!

At some point one has to accept Froome is a worthy winner.
nobody questions that. But he hasn't won it yet.

Hence "a worthy winner", rather than "the worthy winner". But I think people do question it. Whenever he's in difficulty people get annoyed at everyone else, as if Froome is only in yellow because of the actions (or inaction) of other people. To me it's a close relative of the "If Sagan was here..." meme.

With Valverde and a really good Contador, they would have profited from that mechanical.

But Bardet, Uran and Aru don't have the same racing mentality. Serving the Tour-victory on Chris Froome's his plate, really. Quite sad to see.

showing class I see

Who cares? It's racing!

Froome is just way too clumsy

Today's stage was a real chance for Nico Roche to mark the 30th anniversary of his Dad's win. BMC fail.
